European Practice days should be a fun and focused way of raising the energy and levels within Europe (and beyond) by;
- Having co-created European events run with minimal bureaucracy enabling concentrated practice together, focused around push hands practice and GF forms, for mutual benefit, community and enjoyment.
- Prioritising support to European GF Centres with energy and financial support that comes with hosting events
- Each event having at least one coordinator from each national school (i.e. a min of 3 coordinators/lead creators) to enhance the European nature of the event and benefits. The coordinating team should act fairly and with integrity in the interests of all potential participants.
- The practice days are for practice, not training days, in the sense there is not a lead instructor and no group directed instruction is taking place. What is practiced needs to allow for this.
- The organisation of the events is led holistically by those investing or having a key interest, the key stakeholders, who should discuss issues in the first place and consult with all the European members as appropriate and who can attend i.e. senior student and above. No individual or school or group owns the events.
- A body of experience and knowledge that can be shared should be built up as events go on to ensure consistency, quality, appropriateness, fairness and integrity for all. Coordinators and hosts should hand over one event to the next and share learning
